Leadership

ceoMR. MICHAEL ZORMELO is the Managing Director of Mustek Engineering Ltd. He has over ten years experience in General Management and Administration, Marketing, Business policy and strategy formulation and Implementation, Information Systems Management and Implementation of pre-paid telecom & electricity systems.

Mr. Zormelo is the Managing Director of AUWA Ghana, Executive Director of ZYTEC ENGINEERING LIMITED He was formerly an Associate Engineer of CYNTEX ENGINEERING.

Mr. Zormelo has successful history of development and implementation of effective Administration Systems, Advise Board of Directors on Appropriate administrative systems, Design and Implementation of Human Resource Development of staff, Planning, supervision, monitoring and coordination of activities, duties and programmes, Marketing strategy and policy formulation, design and management information reports.

He has directly been involved in all strategy and policy formulation for pre-paid meter installation for Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), design of management information reports for pre-paid meters for Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), design of a pre-paid international billing platform for Ghana Telecom (GT), preparation of source and application of funds for pre-paid meters for Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) and Consultant for Revenue improvement for utility companies.

Mr. Zormelo has rich experience in analyzing data from oil rigs, preparation of reports from data from oil rigs, training of newly recruited engineers, project appraisal and cost/benefit analysis of projects. He has developed and implemented information technology systems for corporate clients, developed systems to improve Revenue collection for utility companies and Internal Revenue department using pre-paid systems.

Mr. Michael Zormelo is an experienced and result oriented Managing Director with proven record of achievement and experience in marketing, administration and information system management, and has strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, innovative with demonstrated people management and leadership skills.

He is a Member of Court of Governors, Indian Kofi Annan ICT Center, Advisor to Police Chief on Information Technology, Advisor to Telecom-Liberia and Negotiating Team on Telecom – Ghana.

Mr. Zormelo has a B. Sc. (HONS) Petroleum Engineering and B.Sc. (MINOR) Marketing from Marietta College, Ohio, USA.

fcMR. STEPHEN OPOKU–ANTWI worked formally with Central Assemblies Of God Church, Community 4, Tema as an Auditor (Part Time). He moved to Alex Thompson & Co. (Chartered Accountants) Accra as an Audit Trainee (Part Time). He audited Ziope Rural Bank, Volta Region, Ghana, and audited firms by preparation of books of accounts, vouching of bank and cash transactions, invoices relating to purchases, sales and other expenditure with related request vouchers, verifications of fixed assess and stocks, performing cash and stock Account, reviewing internal control procedures, verification of bank reconciliation statements and monitoring of project performance (DANIDA Project) and ensure that funds allocated to project are used according to donor specifications. He worked with Gyechie Dankwa & Co, Chartered Accountants) Accra, as an Audit Trainee, audited the following firms and organizations Ghana Oil Palm Plantation, Produce Buying Company Ltd, Tema Textile Ltd, Ghana Sanyo Ltd. Chandirams Ltd and Oda Sawmills Ltd and others. He joined Asafo Adjei & Partners Chartered Accountants) Accra, as a Senior Audit Trainee and continuing auditing firms and organizations. He was employed as a Zonal Accountant in Cashpro Company Ltd. – Dunkwa Zone in setting up the Zonal Office accounting system, preparation of books of accounts, Trial balance, banks reconciliation statements, zonal budget, performance reports and seed fund utilization report,

He was transferred to Head Office, Accra, as a Senior Internal Auditor (Head of Audit Department) in charge of drafting the internal audit & monitoring Manuel, vouching of bank and cash transactions to purchases and other expenditure with related requests for disbursements, verification of books of accounts assets register, rent schedule, bank reconciliation statements and cocoa purchases and evacuation records, perform cocoa stock and assets verification at operational centres, review of internal control system at the operational centers and preparation of internal audit report. He was a Senior Accountant in charge of general ledger, final accounts & MIS and reported to General Manager (Finance). Mr. Opoku – Antwi was promoted to General Manager (Finance) He reported directly to the Deputy Managing Director (F&A) and supervised Head office Accountants in payables & stores, general ledger, final accounts, MIS, fixed assets & banking services payroll, produce inventory control, accounts receivables 7 invoicing of sales.

He formerly worked with Premus Trading Company Ltd as a General Manager reported t o The Board Chairman and responsible supervised workers and Finance Manager, Operations Manager, Administrations Manager and Audit Manager. He also worked with Intrinsic Resources Ltd (Steel Manufacturing Company) as a Chief Accountant reported to Managing Director. His responsibility included Accountants in charge of Final Accounts, Stores Payroll, receivables and Payables and Costing.

Mr. Stephen Opoku–Antwi, technical capabilities are knowledge of Accounts, ability to prepare Final Accounts (Manual & Computerized), interpret Accounts and advise Management, advise on Financial and other related issues, setting up Accounting system for clients, auditing of clients ‘ Accounts and Financial Statements, experience in Treasury Management, Management of Cash flow, Budgetary, Control, Acquisition and Investment of Funds. Management is the ability to Plan and Organize, to Direct, Motivate, Coordinate and Control activities of others and to make Effective decisions and follow up.

Personal are Good communication skills, ability to relate effectively to people and listen to contrary views and deal with conflicting issues. Mr. Stephen Opoku–Antwi is Chartered Accountant holds Executive MBA (Finance Option) Programme, School of Administration, University of Ghana and Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants, Accra.

MR. EMMANUEL Y. ASAMOAH is the Director of Operations of Mustek Engineering Ltd. He has over twenty years of experience in corporate finance and the mortgage industry.

Mr. Asamoah is employed as a Senior Manager, Marketing and Corporate Affairs of Home Finance Company (HFC) Ghana. He was Managing Director of Home Finance Company of the Gambia Ltd., Manager, Mortgage Operations of Home Finance Company, Ghana, Consultant – Mortgage Operations of Union Mortgage Bank (UMB) Ghana, Senior Multifamily Analyst, Business Analyst, Associate Business Analyst of Federal National Mortgage Association (USA), President of Stoneage Business Concepts Adjunct Professor of Trinity College (USA), Instructor Chesapeake Business Institute (USA), Credit Manager, Assistant Credit Manager of Avco Financial Services (USA), Accountant of Atlanta Biltmore Hotel and Christian Service Corps of USA.

Mr. Emmanuel Y. Asamoah has successful history of corporate public relations and marketing, formulation of public and customer relation policies, formulation of marketing policies and procedures, recruitment and training of personnel and supervision of marketing and public relations staff.

He has managed a 200 Million Dollars secondary mortgage portfolio, 10 Million Dollars venture fund and housing revenue bond portfolios, analyzed a 4.2 Million Dollars home and community investment construction loans, managed 3.5 Million Dollars consumer credit finance operation, originated, underwrote, analyzed and settled mortgage and consumer loans, consult with small and medium business operations, formulate, set up and monitor credit and accounts receivable policy for clients, advised clients on risk and credit management, preparation of business and financial plans, prepared individual, partnership and corporate income tax returns, make presentations at professional seminars and workshops, project management skills, and systems architecture redesign, testing and implementation.

Mr. Emmanuel Y Asamoah has attained a wealth of experience in the world capital markets, corporate, medium, and small business funding strategies, financial and strategic planning and analysis. Financial capital investments; risk identification; analysis and management as well as he operation and management of the banking system. Mortgage origination; underwriting; appraisal and funding, with extensive experience in the primary and secondary mortgage market as well as quality control and loss mitigation functions. Technology initiatives related to systems architecture redesign, testing and implementation. Graphics and business reports preparation and presentations and process matrix methodologies. He has a team builder and player and has greater interpersonal skills. He also has skilled negotiator with excellent analytical skills, great business sense and a quick and effective decision- maker.

Mr. Asamoah has MBA, Financial Management from SouthEastern University, Washington, DC, B.Sc. Business Administration from Greenville College, USA, Diploma from Mortgage Bankers Association of America and Diploma Banking from Institute of Bankers, London, England. He has four years of University teaching experience.

MR. JOSEPH KOFI ASSEL formally worked with Novotel Accra as an Accountant Trainee in charge of assisting in bank reconciliation, posting of stock data into computer preparation of income analysis.

Prior to this he was a District Accounts Offer, National Service Secretariat. Dunkwa- On Offin responsible for office management, payment of students’ allowances, bank reconciliation, monitoring of students register and performance.

He has also served as an Assistant Project Accountant, Department of Urban Roads (P.M.U.), Accra where his responsibilities included preparation of payment vouchers & orders for goods and services, control of contract forms, bank reconciliation statements on monthly bases, payroll and salary payment and stores and stores control.

He was employed as a Camp Administrator, Chirano Gold Project; he was in charge of preparing payment vouchers and orders for goods and services, contract forms, bank reconciliation statements, payroll salary payment, general camp administration, monitoring and replenishing of food stock, liaising with other institutions including: Banks, Suppliers, Internal Revenue Services, SSNIT, and Communities in the catchments area, Cash Till management and accommodation and transport.

Mr. Joseph Kofi Assel holds ACCA Level One, Institute of Professional Studies Legon Accra, Ghana.

MR. EMMNUEL ABANKWA AGYEI has been a Site Supervisor for various Construction Projects in his Industrial Attachment some of those were Asmoa Construction Ltd Tema, Joebate Construction Kumasi, Joevide Construction, Kumasi, Limex Construction, Kumasi. He was an Assistant Project Manager/ Contract Administrator for First Triple “A” Ltd during National Service Period.

He formally worked with Max – Kwei Company Ltd, as a Quantity Surveyor (Part Time). He was a Pupil Teacher, and taught Lower Primary in both Infant Jesus International and Adabie Commercial Primary and Junior Senior School.

He is highly motivated, result – oriented individual and team leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, willing to go extra mile to achieve objectives and targets, comfortable working independently with no or little supervision, good spoken English language and excellent writing skill. He is self-starter, conceptual thinking ability with IT skills. He has ability to work at odd hour even under pressure, ability to effectively with all caliber of people and adapts easily to every working environment.

His career plans are to pursue project management to develop his managerial acumen in the construction industry and to prepare models to ensure efficient and effective projects. He is a top business manager and entrepreneur, willing to pursue a course in leadership, governance/corporate law from an interdisciplinary, integrated perspective to critically assess various approaches to a sustainable corporate business environment.

Mr. Emmanuel Abankwa Agyei holds Bsc. Building Technology, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.
